In accordance with Pashtun traditions, the house of Kharijite commander Toheedi, located in Bannu’s Baka Khel area, was demolished by local elders’ decision following his involvement in recent terrorist activities. Toheedi had been a mastermind behind several attacks on security forces and police, often using women and children as shields to hide in his home.

The local community, acting on solid evidence, took action and demolished his house as part of efforts to curb the growing threat.

However, some elements associated with the banned PTM and the Kharijites are using their social media platforms to shift the blame onto the military, spreading propaganda about the incident to further fuel division and confusion.
