Pakistan on Tuesday marked what it described as a victory in the “Marka-e-Haq” operation, which it says was launched in response to India’s alleged “policy-driven false flag operation” in May 2025.
A formal ceremony was held in the federal capital to commemorate the first anniversary of the operation, during which a book titled “The Battle of Truth” was also launched.
The event was attended by senior civil and military leadership. Defence Minister Khawaja Asif and Information Minister Attaullah Tarar represented the civilian government, while retired military leadership, including Aamer Riaz, participated alongside other officials.
Speakers at the ceremony presented what they described as a detailed account of the “Marka-e-Haq” operation, stating that it was conducted in response to India’s alleged false flag activity. They emphasized Pakistan’s military preparedness and resilience during the period of heightened tensions.
According to statements made at the event, the operation not only demonstrated Pakistan’s defensive capabilities but also strengthened its diplomatic and strategic standing on the international stage.
Retired Lt Gen Aamer Riaz, addressing the gathering, said that Pakistan’s position in the “Marka-e-Haq” episode reflected what he termed a clear and justified outcome, describing it as a “fair and square” outcome in Pakistan’s favor.
The ceremony concluded with renewed assertions that the operation holds significance in shaping Pakistan’s recent security narrative and its broader regional posture.
